Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is delighted once again to be supporting The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, by the showing of their Evening Medical Updates.
The Evening Medical Updates (EMU) programme covers the ‘Top Medical Presentations’ and ‘Emergency Presentations’ as defined in the GIM training curriculum. The 26 topics are covered in a rolling programme, with monthly updates held between September and June of each academic year. Timings are from 18:30-20:15 and are held in the lecture theatre of the PGEC, East Surrey Hospital.
Each EMU consists of three 30-minute presentations. The programme allows time for discussion and questions with contributions from attendees at our centre.
Although aimed particularly at core trainees, Evening Medical Updates are open to all hospital doctors, GPs, other healthcare professionals, and medical students. They are free of charge to all.
To book places attendees must preregister online: events.rcpe.ac.uk
