The PGME Team would like to congratulate Clinical Teaching Fellow Dr Max Roberts on his receiving Joint Runner-Up Best Teacher Year 5 Award for 2019/20, as nominated by Year 5 Medical Students from Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
Dr Roberts has been with the Trust from August 2019 and is responsible for the delivery of teaching for the medical students on placement at the Trust alongside colleague Dr Alex Byrne. The award is well deserved with his students praising his ability to clearly explain complex concepts in a supportive and engaging way.
Dr Roberts said ‘’It was a real pleasure to receive this award and I would like to thank everyone in the PGEC, Director of Education Dr Sarah Rafferty and my colleague, Clinical Teaching Fellow Dr Alex Byrne for their support through this year.’’
