On July the 9th, 2021 East Surrey Hospital hosts a LapPass Assessment Day organised by consultant general and colorectal surgeons’ Mr Andy Day and Mr Tim Campbell Smith. Launched by the ALSGBI in 2015, the LapPass is a nationally recognised certificate of proficiency in the technically demanding skills required for surgery.
The day holds 12 places for for CT 1-2 and ST 3-4 training grades and attendees to the LapPass day will be assessed at four stations to test key surgical skills illustrated below.
