The PGME Team are happy to announce the first CCrISP Course to be run at SASH this autumn taking place on the 13th and 14th of September.

Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP®) is a product of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was designed by Mr. Iain Anderson, consult general surgeon. The course covers the theoretical basis and practical skills required to manage critically ill surgical patients including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so. In a safe environment candidates will learn theoretical and personal skills so they can assess and manage critical situations in a systematic way.

CCrISP is suitable for CT1-2 & SAS grades and relevant to all specialties, however in-course examples are predominantly taken from general surgical patients. To book a place and for more information and an application form visit: sasheducationcampus.net/learning-events/
