Are you ready to be a Developmental Mentor?

Do you have a genuine passion for the development of others? Are you supportive, easy to approach and an active listener? Can you act as a sounding board? Are you willing to share your experience? Are you objective, non judgemental & willing to offer challenge? Are you keen to allow others to make their own decisions?

Who is the 1 day workshop for?

Clinical and-non clinical staff who manage a team or work with people who they might help with developmental mentoring. You don’t have to working at a particular band or grade but you do need a genuine passion for developing others.

To be eligible for this training you  will need to :

  • Have the support of your manager to undertake the training and use mentoring skills within your job
  • Attend the 1 day workshop and complete 1.5 hours mandatory pre-work
  • Join the KSS Developmental Mentor Register and mentor a minimum of 1 person year in SaSH
