Health Education England – Kent Surrey and Sussex
Health Education England working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, is responsible for the education, training and workforce planning for all NHS staff. SASH works closely with them and other key stakeholders to ensure that education and learning is driven by patient needs.
General Medical Council
The GMC regulate all stages of doctors’ training and professional development in the UK. SASH adheres to their standards to ensure that patient safety, quality of care, and fairness is at the heart of the learning environment for undergraduates and postgraduates.
The Gold guide is a reference Guide for Postgraduate Specialty Training in the UK and is applicable to all trainees (StRs) taking up appointments in specialty (including GP) training which commenced on or after 1 August 2007.
